Google Bad Review 1:  Would not recommend. Aleks carried out a building survey on a flat I was purchasing but failed to spot a progressive leak coming from the flat above. Aleks denies that the leak was there when he carried out the survey and is not taking any responsibility. Sadly, the leak was there all along and it resulted in the bathroom ceiling becoming unstable. Don't waste your money

Google Bad Review (2):  Aleks gave a detailed building survey, but flagged ‘damp' and ‘subsidence' which were disproved through further inspections (at significant extra cost to myself), which I presume was designed to shift any potential liability to the people issuing subsequent reports. Subsequent reports by a timber/damp expert and structural engineer disagreed on both points. A timber/damp expert found no damp, while a structural engineer found the ‘subsidence' was likely settlement from an earlier loft conversion.

Despite his insistence on using the word ‘subsidence' in the survey, Aleks was unable to explain the difference between subsidence, settlement, and differential movement (and only called in response to the email – he never gave a written reply to my email).

Finally, he the structural engineer he recommended to inspect structural issues provided an extremely expensive quote (more than double what I ended up paying to a different engineer). Appears like a significant conflict of interest to me.
