We had our new flat checked for snagging using this company, on their webiste it showed that it inlcuded the a way to see if there is draft coming from any of the windows, We went with Mo (not a company but just a single guy acting like a company) who's reviews looked amazing. The other options were expensive, however when asked whether they would take an picture using a thermal camera, we were told this not was included.

If a thermal camera image is not included then the prices are more expensive than the competitors. so i would look at other companies to for a better quote.

– Since its a single person doing the work, you will need to assist them when doing it as they need help lifitng/checking behind the raidator.
– You would expect them to do the whole thing when you're paying £350 for it. I might have been an anomaly but dont get fooled by some of the review, make sure you know what you're buying and what's included.

Looking at the report, it may have been easier to do it myself. but i took the proffesional route which has left a bitter taste.

Google Bad Review (2):  Poor details on the report, some pictures are so blur and no mentioned which part of the area that causing the problems. The snagger forgot to turn off the light and the loft after the inspections as i had to leave early. The snagger is polite but no communication, he didn't ask for certificates to check. I hired a snagger because I don't know what to check and expect a good quality of the report for me to send to developer to fix it. Disappointing.

Google Bad Review 1:  Very sadly, I entrusted Michael Bennett of BestGapp with the letting of my property. A security key was given to an un-Named tenant whose background had never been properly checked, and who appears to have lived at my property in addition to the Named tenant. I discovered my property was seriously dilapidated after only 3mths when I initiated the Q1 inspection that Michael had failed to. After refusing to either act in or represent my interests at all, I was obliged to fire BestGapp. Tenant left, but – yet again in breach of the AST and apparently on the advice of Michael – failed to professionally clean the property, having also taken belongings of the property. BestGapp have held a lien over the deposit that I paid them to register at the DPS against my property and have refused to allow the DPS to adjudicate, which I believe to be illegal (criminal). A hugely stressful, distressing and time-consuming experience that BestGapp have ensured through their adversarial conduct cannot be resolved amicably. The damage to my property exceeds the net rent achieved by BestGapp by a factor of 2-3x. Unregulated (until proven otherwise) Cowboys! Myself and my property were placed at virtually unlimited Risk through my misplaced Trust in BestGapp. I am also pending an explanation of why I was billed a rate >30% higher than that charged by the high-end cleaners used by The Grosvenor Estate for the pre-check-In Cleaning of my property by a small firm I had never heard of, especially when my property had been left in immaculate (mostly brand new) condition in the first place. In this context, highly suspicious!!

Google Bad Review 1:  24.05.2021 Our roof is still leaking into our Showroom. Through electric fittings. DW choose to ignore my emails and neglect to inform me that no-one has fixed our leak as promised. Only when I chase them do I get a partial response. They are hopeless.

We have been tenants of Daniel Watney for over eight years. Their customer service is abysmal. We have had continual leaks. One took over two years to repair. This was water from the waste system of the apartment overhead. It was never treated seriously nor with urgency. And now we have more leaks. They are refusing to pay redecorating costs. They ignore my emails. Do not return calls. Very bad landlord.

Google Bad Review (2):  If I could give zero, I would with no hesitation. Currently renting one of their flats in Haringey, Strettons are beyond imagination. We got in and the flat was basically falling apart with wholes on the kitchen floor, rotting skirting and yellow stains on the walls. Unbelievable. They are extremely disrespectful, they have been ignoring our simple requests since day 1. I had to escalate to the Council to have the bloody front door fixed after 7 embarrassing months paying rent. Please, from the bottom of my heart, DO NOT RENT WITH THEM AND SAVE YOURSELVES FROM HUMILIATION AND FRUSTRATION. Strettons should be ashamed of themselves.
