Google Bad Review 1: BEWARE. We are looking to buy a listed building and I wanted to talk to the Surveyor to build confidence that he had a good understanding of older buildings and conservation. As soon as I asked about his qualifications he immediately became defensive. I wanted to ask questions like “When did you last work on an old building?” “Are you a member of the IHBC?”, “What do you think are the major challenges that a building of this nature may present?”. I don't think these questions are unreasonable given the size of the investment involved.
The Surveyor's response was “I don't need this work, I have 50 years experience and if you don't like me go somewhere else”.
I'm so glad we were able to determine this man's odious and arrogant character and total disrespect for us as customer's before he had been engaged.
