Google Bad Review 1: I paid £1180 for a two night stay including treatments.
The room was dirty, the food awful and the spa charged me an extra £121-00 in error over the cost of what I should have paid.
As well as having burned my daughters feet and having to have her pedicure redone.
The list goes on and on.
We had to send food back every meal that was either off or raw.
The room was dirty and very tired and not worth anything like the rates charged.
The spa was overcrowded and the relaxation room was dirty and nobody came to clear used towels or sanitised anything.
I reached out to the management and was promised a 50% refund as well as the overcharged amount. I was happy to accept this.
However Mr Robert Pollington ( operations manager) has decided to withhold the money as I put a review on a holiday advice site, which was honest and accurate.
They answered my original review online with a distorted and untruthful reply.
All in all I have had a dreadful experience and have been let down not only by the resort but the management as well.
I will not be returning.
If I could give no stars I would.
Champneys need to give better customer service and listen to complaints. Deeply disappointed.

Google Bad Review (2): Would not recommend staff unhelpful, lunch was terrible, treatments were booked and both times late going in and no apology. For the cost of the day nearly £500 for me and my daughter in law felt we were ripped off no one seemed to be bothered.
