Google Bad Review 1: When I read all the positive reviews about Feature Clinic and Mai, I did not hesitate in making an appointment with her. Unfortunately, my experience was not great. On the 4th October I had my eyebrows microbladed by Mai and they ended up a different shape from each other, one was curved and the other was at an angle (I have attached the photograph). Also, during the treatment, the front of them was slightly different as one was higher than the other. Mai spent an extra half an hour on trying to rectify the shape so that they would look the same but couldn't. She also couldn't see the difference in height of the front of the eyebrows and asked me to pencil it in which I found very odd and unprofessional but did it regardless. After, the front of the eyebrows (with help from myself) looked identical but the problem with the shape remained.
Following a lengthy conversation with Mai, I understood that over the course of the next 4 weeks my eyebrows would lighten, get thinner and look different to what they did at the time of the treatment and all the gaps etc could be sorted out on the day of the touch up, so I left the clinic positive.
After 4 weeks my eyebrows were still different from each other so I rang Mai who asked me to send her a photograph. From the photograph she disagreed that they were different so I asked if I could come to the clinic for her to have a better look but she was off for the week so couldn't. I then asked her if I could get a second opinion from her colleagues and she agreed.
I went to the clinic and both Lynn and Lesley could see the eyebrows were different. One was curved and the other one was at an angle.
Mai and I then agreed to have one of the eyebrows lightened using a method called flushing out the colour. I wanted more information on this so rang Mai but she was too busy with clients. I therefore googled this treatment and found nothing. I went on the feature clinic website and found nothing there either so I texted Mai and asked ‘Is this a new treatment? Have you done it before? Does it leave scarring?' She responded by telling me she has done this once to a client during the microblading treatment not after 4 weeks of healing. She then cancelled our flushing treatment, gave me a full refund and said I don't feel confident that you will receive the results you desire. I wasn't prepared to be the guinea pig of a new treatment so was content with this cancellation.
Lynn is a ink removal technician who works at Feature clinic and when she gave her opinion on my eyebrows she was confident that the PMU treatment would work, followed by a touch up so I asked Mai, if I could make an appointment with Lynn. I was treading carefully and sensitively as I didn't want Mai to feel embarrassed by the mistake she made during the treatment or her lack of confidence and expertise in lightening the colour using her own method called ‘flushing out the colour.'
Mai gave me Lynn's mobile number. I spoke to Lynn who went through the procedure and sent me photographs of possible results. I then made an appointment and Mai cancelled it. She said she gave me Lynn's mobile number so that I could make an appointment with her for the PMU treatment outside of her clinic – which Lynn doesn't have! How absurd!
This level of service falls way below anything I have ever experienced or expected after the reviews I read. I always thought that if a mistake is made by anybody, they would do their best to rectify it. I have been very patient, sensitive and diplomatic and in turn have received an appalling service.

Google Bad Review (2): I had my eyebrows microbladed before the first lockdown, although their customer service was nice, I've been very disappointed with the results.
There is an obvious asymmetry with the shape; one brow is higher than the other; and the arch of each has been set at different points. It looks like the front of one brow has a few strokes, but from the arch onwards; it looks as if she just could not be bothered to do the strokes and decided to create a smudge effect.
I hope the ladies at Feature Clinic obtain more adequate training and improve their skills.
