Google Bad Review 1:  We paid in full and good faith for insurance. Next morning we was asked for photos. We sent photos we had on our phone as away on a holiday. We was told the one photo was not acceptable but after explaining we are away we can’t give anymore currently but they said Aviva must have the picture but we can’t as away. Comfort have now been so difficult and reluctant and we had to ask four times for our money back because they say Aviva want photos and proof etc, even though why is this not done before you have to pay the full amount??? Now they are absolutely refusing to refund in full and taking a £30 admin fee from us which we do NOT agree too because we can’t help being away on holiday!!!! This is disgusting and they are so desperate to keep £30 of our money so we are going to take legal action plus court fees to get our £30 back as its a principal matter as we assume they are making a killing by deduction of £30 from everyone! Bearing in mind we confirmed the policy late in the evening and by the next morning we had been asked to send the pictures and before lunchtime we they stated THEY can’t do the policy because of the photo but we are not home from holiday and yet they still was adamant they want £30 fee!!!!!!! And the policy hasn’t even began as we didn’t need it to start until June 16 th!!!! So policy not an instant active one!!!

Google Bad Review (2):  Having purchased comfort insurance for our
Hymer motorhome Which weighs 599 kg I have been incredibly disappointed and let down by the level of cover offered by the company.

The £5000 limit on any one claim comes nowhere near the cost of emergency recovery from the roadside and repatriation of the vehicle and us. £5000 sounds like a lot of money but the initial breakdown total cost £2000 alone for a journey of less than 30 km.

When we contacted comfort insurance direct having given up on the recovery team in France we were told to make a complaint and that we knew that the limit was £5000 and that Other companies offered less cover!!
In my opinion this cover was negligently sold and the company has not taken its duty of care to the customer seriously nor has it taken in the requirements of the product into consideration . I would never use this company again
