Google Bad Review 1: I visited this salon a few weeks ago as I wanted to try different place and it was a big mistake. The lady (middle aged blonde) who was cutting my hair clearly didn't know how to tackle my kind of curly hair. I told her I wanted about 2 inches off & clearly showed her the length. I was quote £55 as my hair was classed as extra long.

Half way through she told me she wanted to straighten my hair instead of a curly blow dry (which I always get) to check that it was all straight?? I have never had that before but just obliged. She kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter in order to make it the same length and she was not getting it right. Even after straightening my hair, she just kept chopping. I was so so disappointed and upset. I went from extra long hair to extremely short hair (above shoulder!) Even the receptionist could see how upset I was. At the end it was still wonky and uneven despite cutting it that short. The receptionist gave ma £10 discount but £45 is a lot of money for really bad hair cut. It took me years to grow my hair & she literally chopped it off like she was practicing.

I was so so upset and another lady (brunette) came to fix it. She was lovely and explained everything & managed to get it to the same length. She was a lot more professional but I will not be visiting again nor will i be recommending friends as I pay around £55 for my hair cut at either Tony & Guy or Rush at Stratford and they always get it right.

Really need to train some staff to ensure they listen to clients. I would not be paying anything for a hair cut like that & I spent nearly 3 hours there & still paid £45 for an unpleasant experience.
