Google Bad Review 1:  I booked a stay with them in October 2017 for an apartment in Paris. We were are large party and there were not many options for us all to stay together. We had a beautiful place picked out in the area we wanted to stay in and the place was confirmed for 12 nights.
A month so after being confirmed and paying the deposit when we were approached to change our reservation to a new location because they had the opportunity to rent out the apartment for a year. As some of us had rental properties, we new this was a good opportunity for them. Our request was to find us an equal place (6 bedrooms and a lot of bathrooms in a good location). Thesqua.re found us a place and offered us 3 nights at an apartment in London as compensation. The place we ended up staying at looked great on paper and wasn't bad when we first checked in.
We had several issues throughout the stay, but had no contact with the property manager (except for them to show the apartment to a potential renter). Our security deposit was never collected and the property manager never seen. I wrote an email to Thesqua.re and never heard back from them about any of the issues we had on the rental in Paris.
Fast forward to 2018 and trying to use the 3 nights in London. It has not happened. I contacted Thesqua.re at the end of August for the end of November. It is now the middle of October and I have not been confirmed for November. The airfare has since tripled and plans for a Thanksgiving vacation have dissipated. We can't even find a place in the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, Europe or the US that is reasonable at this point. A family getaway was ruined 2 times by Thesqua.re
I wasn't planning on posting a negative review as we managed a good time in Paris even with the issues of the apartment (mosquitoes, bugs, a broken clavicle, etc). By accepting the change in apartments, we were going to receive another family vacation for 3 nights. It sounded so promising and the apartment promised in London looked nice. I have checked in several times with Thesqua.re on the status of the apartment in London and have gotten nowhere. I haven't heard a response from anyone in about a week. Thesqua.re has effectively ruined 2 family vacations for us.

Google Bad Review (2):  Me and my family have stayed with this company for over 2 months and it went from bad to worse; and if I were to mention all the reasons for saying this I would need a few hours of writing, however to mention a few.
The cleaners had to come back 2 times to rectify the cleaning issues we noticed when we checked in. The linen had some stains (not major, but still), it wasn’t hoovered properly underneath the furniture, cupboards were dusty, pots and pans had seen better days, iron was missing, etc etc.
Once these things were done we didn’t feel like we still had any privacy. Staff were entering the apartment without knocking – TWICE and in order to avoid such situations we have requested them to inform us in advance about the reason and time of any visits, however the unexpected visits continued throughout our stay e.g. to change the toaster in perfect condition and two days after this was done, another person would come to change the toaster…
– Blinds were installed 3 times and each time it would fall within the first day
– We were moved out of our apartment since they have decided to change the entire furniture during our stay despite the fact that we have insisted to retain the old furniture which was comfortable and of decent quality. The new furniture was absolutely horrible and of the lowest quality and made our lounge look like a waiting area, the new tv stand was as low as about 20cms tall…
Whenever we tried to bring something up with the customer service team, we were shot down, told we’re unreasonable and explained to us that we’re not ‘normal’ tenants. So basically, we were told we had no rights to the apartment or privacy and just had to go along with whatever they decided to do.
As if this wasn’t enough more problems started occurring. The underfloor heating in one of the bedrooms stopped working, the dishwasher started to show some error messages, and the Internet stopped working in the evenings, obviously always after hours so no one was available to attend and fix the problem. Those are just a FEW of the issues we had, I still have a looong list that I will share some other time.
In conclusion, it was a rather disappointing and tiring stay and I’m glad to be back home…
