Google Bad Review 1: Have been on the phone to this hospital for 45 minutes, trying different departments, appointments, consultants’ appointments, imaging , enquiries… Nobody picks up the phone !!
It is indeed very strange for a hospital. People need a hospital to be reachable fast.

Google Bad Review (2): My stay at Princess Grace 25.10.19.

On admission the greeting was cordial, informative and efficient. The male Nurse on duty was very helpful and reassuring, and answered the questions and concerns that my wife had. The Nurse on duty in the eve was again very helpful.

It was the way that the discharge from your Hospital was handled which was so very poor. Specifically I phoned up in the morning from home to get an approx discharge time for my wife and was told between 1 & 2pm. I arrived at the Hospital just before 1pm and made my way up to my wife’s room. She was eating her Lunch and had been told that after that she could leave.

She was also told that someone would be bringing her all the medicines that she would need to take in the days ahead. With my wife having finished her lunch and almost fully dressed and ready to go, I went to the reception on that floor and enquired as to the whereabouts of the medicines. I was told they were on their way but that they would be chased up. Some 15 minutes later with still no sign of them, I chased them again. Eventually a Nurse arrived with them (the bag of medicines), but that someone else would be along to administer a final dose of Morphine.

Another Nurse arrived and administered the Morphine and then the two just walked out of the room without even asking how my wife was feeling or how her stay had been. In fact they did not even say Goodbye! As they were walking away I asked a question but they just ignored me and kept on walking.

We investigated what medicines were in the bag & discovered that some painkillers and anti-sickness tablets were missing and had been told that the Pharmacy was now closed. And all these had been paid for in advance. So we had to get a prescription for these from her GP, who luckily had been advised of her procedure by my wife private Dr.

I then had to go and ask for some crutches, as despite these being promised, they had not been sent to her room. When we left the hospital building it was pouring with rain and there was no one there to offer any help eg holding an umbrella, a wheelchair to the taxi.
