Google Bad Review 1: Very disappointed.
Firstly I paid a lot of money for my appointment to find out I had to pay an additional £30 per mole to be checked.
Secondly I thought I was seeing a specialist but I was actually only seeing a nurse.
I had my results back relatively quickly and it said I needed an urgent referral, which made me feel extremely anxious. I booked in with the mole clinic for them to offer me an appointment in September, which made no sense.
I then decided to go through my GP who said there was nothing wrong with my moles, he referred me to the hospital anyway for my results to come back all fine.
Prior to this I had rang and cancelled my appointment with the mole clinic. 3 weeks have gone by and my refund has still not come through.
I spoke to someone on customer service today and she said I did not give her my card details for a refund, like it was my fault. The woman I spoke to never asked me for my details yet told me the refund had gone through.
The amount of money you are paying you would expect a high level of service unfortunately that is not the case.
I am not one for normally leaving bad reviews but the amount of anxiety I went through regarding my results and inconvenience this has caused me I had to.

Google Bad Review (2): Went for the check on one mole. In the appointment I was told by the nurse that there was nothing wrong with the mole, that the doctor would review it but at most would tell me me to come back in 6 months or a year. She said would call me the next day to relay what the doctor's feedback was but she went out of her way to stress that there was nothing to worry about with this mole.
The next day she called me to say the Dr had flagged the mole as “urgent” and I needed to come back in urgently for a pre-cancer screening. This was extremely alarming and upsetting given the very definite view she voiced at the appointment the day before that the mole was completely normal and would not need a follow up (which I do not think they should have done if there was any doubt, which presumably there could be).
I was very, very anxious to book in the follow up at this point so was put through to the bookings team to book in my ‘urgent' appointment. I was then offered the earliest available appointment on the 13 September, 6 weeks away. It is impossible for me to reconcile how they can tell someone they need something urgently reviewed then only offer then an appointment 6 weeks later? This was extremely cruel and irresponsible, especially when this is a paid for service. I was told to secure the appointment I had to pay £150 immediately, so I did as I was so worried.
I ended up finding a clinic who could see me the next day. Their consultant dermatologist assured me there was no issue with the mole and checked all my others while I was there assure me.
I have cancelled my appointment at the Mole Clinic and they are processing the refund .
