Google Bad Review 1: I had an appointment with a French guy (I think his name is Luis, but I am not sure, he is not on their website, I wonder why!!) and I had the worst haircut ever! I have very healthy, thick hair and were very long, the perfect canvas for him to create and re-style but.. He managed to mess it up! He created a two length mess. It looks like I am wearing half a wig just at the top part of my head and the ends just looks messy. I had to buy a hat for the first time in my life and have them up all the time! I also paid £76 for the pleasure as he is a senior stylist!! Avoid.

Google Bad Review (2): The very first time I had a Brazilian blow dry, I went to this salon and paid 200 quid for the privilege. It was a job well done. You need to use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner in order to maintain the effects of the treatment, which was explained to me when I was leaving the salon – fine. I also asked the stylist whether I should avoid using other products as I usually apply mousse in my hair after washing. She said that was fine and I could carry on doing that if I wanted to.
So a few days later I washed my hair for the first time with the recommended shampoo and conditioner, and then applied mousse afterwards. It turns out that mousse will undo all the effects of the treatment – and my hair went back to its uncontrollable, frizzy state immediately afterwards. I called the salon to tell them that I was wrongly advised by the stylist and that they should really fix this problem as I had effectively wasted 200 pounds. They were having none of it and said it was my fault! How could it be when the stylist wasn't at all competent about aftercare? Thanks to them, 200 pounds of my hard-earned cash has been completely wasted. They did offer a complementary deep conditioning treatment instead, worth 70 pounds, but I refused.
I regularly do this treatment at another salon since and now have smooth manageable hair. The other salon stylist said that using mousse after the treatment was a definite no-no, and that I was ill-advised by the stylist at The Lounge. Do not bother with this salon and their incompetent stylists!
