Google Bad Review (2):  AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I wanted to replace a broken screen, so brought it into this shop. The owner moved my system over onto another computer without asking me (he was trying to sell me the other computer!), I'm now dealing with problems weeks later because all my software is asking for codes and insertion of installer CDs etc (after he replaced my system onto my original computer). All this when I have a very heavy workload. What's more, it's always impossible to get him on the phone and when I arranged to meet him (by posting a note through his door), he didn't show up at the arranged time, costing me money in lost work!!!

WASTE OF £89!! STILL UPSET ABOUT IT

My Husbands computer was running slowly and overheating and we wanted it to be cleaned up for his new job. Since we lived locally we decided to give them a try, their office is very cute and they have a nice fishtank.

Their diagnosis was a lot of internal dust and sand and they would have to wipe it clean – we agreed. Firstly, they were late with when they said it would be ready. Secondly, their attention to detail is poor. When we went to pick it up they hadn't even put it back together properly- screws were missing!

Then to add insult to injury we booted it up and discovered they re-installed a MS Office 2007 when we had MS Office 2010 (they even asked us beforehand to give us the software key??). The guy we dealt with (who also couldn't speak English properly so communication was a problem) started shouting and arguing with my Husband basically calling him a liar!!!

The owner had to come and resolve the situation (also very poorly) and gave us an insulting £4 discount- £4!!

To say we are angry doesn't even cover it! 2 months later- the laptop is just as slow as it was before and since they ‘cleaned' it my Husband has been getting Google come up in a foreign language and the computer doesn't recognize PDFs.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! TRY SOMEONE ELSE- I WISH WE DID AND SAVED £80 🙁

Unless you like to be ripped off, I advise you to stay away from this shop. I got asked by my housemate to get an ADSL cable & box for home, and, before paying, I asked if I could have brought the products back in case they weren't the right ones. I was guaranteed that of course I could have done that, to just keep the receipt and there would have been no issue. Guess what? When I asked my money back 'cause the items weren't right, two of the guys working there told me that it's not in their company policy to do refunds, that it's impossible someone told me they would have (basically telling me I invented it, OUTRAGEOUS) and refused, very very rudely, to give me my money back. Totally unprofessional and they just showed they have no care of their customers, all they want is to rip people off. STAY AWAY!!

Google Good Review:  I cannot be grateful enough with this service. Andy is one of the kindest and most competent people I have ever dealt with. He went beyond his duties to help, dealing with my call at 8.00pm, signposting me to someone in my area that couldn't help, and then, when i called him back to see whether he could advise me on anyone else, he just said he will try remotely. he did it – we didn't manage to recover the absolutely latest version of my file, but one of one hour earlier. I am over the moon, I thought i had lost a day worth of work!!! I cannot recommend this service enough.

She also didn't have the courtesy/professionalism to explain the service procedure for the laptop.

Google Bad Review (2):  Awful experience. Walked in and got stared down before I even said hello. I had made an appointment for my phone to be fixed as it stated same day repair service and an authorised apple repair centre. Walked in to be rudely told that I could give it in today but wouldn't be ready for another two days. When I queried this I was told “we have loads of other phones to fix before 6”. When I asked what the point of making an appointment was, the guy rudely shrugged at me, so I walked out. Absolutely pointless waste of time. Don't bother.

Google Bad Review 1:  After being keen to support an independent business, I sincerely regret approaching this company. There is a serious lack of communication, and I am currently still awaiting a refund of £350 that they offered, AND my hard drives.

One month ago, I went in with three hard drives for data recovery, with one in particular that needed recovering. I met Adam in person. After being quoted £680 for the most important (£490 and £790 for the other two), I said that unfortunately this was out of my budget. The team seemingly didn't want to lose business so reduced the price to almost HALF, from £680 to £350. I was shocked that such a significant discount could suddenly be made, but needing the data, I paid £350.

Having been quoted a 7 day delivery, I then received this email from someone called Len:

“We are short off staff from today ,because of lock down and your data need more 2 weeks to do. If you happy to wait please let us know , if not we will refund your money and you can come and collect your HDs.”

I could not wait for 2 weeks, so agreed to a refund and collection. Again, it seemed strange to me that a refund was offered so readily, after haggling for the business.

Ironically, that was well over 2 weeks ago. Since then, they are yet to respond to a phone call, give me a time or date to collect the hard drives OR process the refund. I have emailed or called every day, and am growingly distraught, not only for the seeming financial loss but the loss of my hard drives too.

Google Bad Review (2):  I don't normally leave bad reviews, but unfortunately this repair shop tried to rip me off.
My laptop stopped charging all of a sudden, so I brought it to this repair shop. They ran diagnostics and told me that the hard drive needed replacing which would have set me back by £150. They normally call people up if the repair costs more than £100. When they called me, I told them I couldn't afford it. I still had to pay £35 for the diagnostics that they had run.
I ended up taking my laptop to another IT specialist and it turned out that some minor part (something to do with charging port) needed replacing which cost me no more than £5 (excluding service).
Needless to say, I am certainly not coming back to this repair shop, nor would I ever recomend it to anyone else.
