FB Last Post Text: Let us be clear… If we are called to a member of crew presenting with a life-threatening allergic reaction / anaphylaxis, we will NOT be giving them a quick dose of adrenaline and running a bag of saline to boost their blood pressure to let them continue working. We will be removing them from their place of work to a private area for medical treatment, carrying out a full assessment, following the Resuscitation Council UK anaphylaxis algorithm in full, and ensuring that the…y are transported to hospital. If that means we are delaying the show, or causing an act to not perform, so be it. Our priority is to deliver the best care to each & every patient, no matter who they are or what their role is. Their health comes above their job. We won't tolerate any pressure otherwise. And we won't allow our clinicians to work outside of accepted guidelines, or put their professional registrations on the line because “the show must go on”.
