Google Bad Review (2): Very disappointing. Having travelled for three hours to meet my daughter, who had taken the day off to attend a pre-booked bridal appointment, we were informed on our punctual arrival that no such booking had been made. The personal stylist, together with a younger assistant, checked their large appointments book on the desk and our appointment was clearly marked in red ink for that time on that day. Surprised, I asked them if they hadn't checked their appointments book, and they replied that they did not need to as the appointment would have come up on their system but, they assured me, it had not. I showed them proof on my mobile that confirmation of the appointment had been sent to me by email from them but they still denied all knowledge, advising me that I should have spoken to management when I made my appointment. We were taken to the bridal suite where the dresses we had requested were not available in the requested sizes, although the personal stylist said she could arrange for them to be sent to the store for a further appointment at a later date. I expressed my annoyance politely, but her attitude was, that as she had apologised, I should not mind the inconvenience. Thanking her, we left with no intention of returning. We moved on to our next pre-booked appointment two minutes' walk away at Whistles, St Christopher's Place where we received an excellent service and found the perfect dress. I have written them a review too.
