Google Bad Review 1: I booked an appointment on the website only to come in and be told that I can’t have my hair done because they’re already booked and they didn’t see my appointment. I asked if I could have my deposit back and I was told no as if it was my fault that they didn’t update their booking system? They arranged for someone to come over from a different branch, I was told she’d be here in 45 minutes and I would be finished by 5pm but it took over an hour for her to come and I finished around 6:30pm. She even went to the post office in the middle of doing my hair. On top of this the braids were trimmed poorly and they were all different lengths? Big waste of money and time

Google Bad Review (2): I wanted to like this place, they have a great Instagram, great reviews and are in a convenient location but unfortunately I won't be coming again.
I arrived at the salon at 3pm as per my booked appointment time (after they got in touch with me to move my original appointment for 1pm) only to arrive to find my stylist halfway through someone else's box braids. I expected someone to maybe step in and help out, but the other stylist seemed reluctant to help. I was given no clear indication on who would be doing my relaxer or how long I would be waiting, just one or two apologies as the staff tried to figure out who would do my hair.
I waited in the salon for an hour and fifteen minutes before my hairdresser finally started my hair at 4:15pm. Do you know what a waste of time it is to be sitting doing nothing when my hair should have been finished in this time? Its incredibly disrespectful of my time, I may as well have walked in instead of booking an appointment online. Their website says they charge £10 for being 10 minutes late and an appointment gets cancelled if you are 30 minutes late. Clearly they value their own time but not their clients. Shouldn't there be compensation for if I have to wait over an hour after my scheduled time because of their poor organisation?
The hairdresser did not mix the relaxer correctly, did not even wait for it to sit before applying it and ignored my instructions that it was just a touch up and that I did not want the relaxer to go all the way down to the ends of my hair. She left me with an assistant (who was lovely but did not seem experienced) to wash the relaxer out of my hair. She did her best but mistakenly poured water down the front of my shirt, when she asked for an extra towel for me, she was told there was none available and that they were all in the dryer.
The whole experience was exhausting and subpar. If your staff don't have the patience or experience, I'd suggest removing relaxers from your list of services.
