Google Bad Review 1: Told us they would not rent a property to a family with a stay at home dad despite the mother being in full time permanent employment. I wonder if this would be the the case if the child's carer was the mother?

Google Bad Review (2): Very unresponsive group for an agency that seems to be trading on some sort of “slick upper class” image. Called three times without a single person picking up the phone. When I finally got hold of someone, I was treated like some second-class citizen, unworthy of their time, or of even seeing the rather simple properties they had on offer. These aren't penthouses, these are normal homes – but apparently not for the likes of people like me. Poor communication, rubbish treatment. I suggest avoiding Nicholas Ashley, particularly when there are so many other competitive estate agents who will give you the kind of time and effort that will actually justify the fees they will eventually demand.
