Google Bad Review 1: After initially telephoning the London boutique( whilst in search of a mother of the bride outfit) after perusing the website, I made enquiries at several boutiques..Suzannah of London,Catherine Walker included.
Before booking an appointment I had several questions regarding a design I admired regarding shades, fabrics etc.,
The assistant at Joyce Young was extremely rude and arrogant in her manner, in fact so much so, that I declined to book an appointment and instead booked with Suzannah of London and visited Catherine walker and Suzanne Neville for further inspiration.
Not only were their fabrics and laces just as fine in quality, their customer service was fabulous, discreet and welcoming,without pressure to purchase.
I was extremely offended by this person's attitude and feel that customer service is paramount, especially at what is a very special time in a mother of the bride's life.
I was made to feel as if I didn't really know what quality was and also not used to wearing and purchasing it.
There are several other designers in London who use far superior fabrics, exclusive designs and whom endeavoured to make my whole experience that much more special.
My daughter's wedding is going to be a rather large affair at a renowned cathedral and period venue and as such I would not have hesitated to recommend them, but as it is, I shall not.
Simple manners and pleasantries don't cost very much and make all the difference to a client.
Would advise to avoid. I for one will not be returning, even for my grand child's up and coming christening in the cathedral in addition.
