Google Bad Review 1: Inexperience is all I can think off ! I won’t mention it all it will take to long , Our girl lost “quite a bit of blood but nothing concerning” his words, till she nearly died at home and he charged me another 400 to tell me she’s anemic and must of lost a lot more blood than he thought She had lost ! now she has a massive hernia where internal stitches were not done competently , and will need another operation to fix the bad work , highly un recommended

This is my experience. I called and asked if they had the facilities to chest x-rays my Great Dane. I was assured they did. I made an appointment, which was for the following week. I had specifically explained he could be managed so anesthetics would not be necessary, I did not want to unduly risk his life. They said they understood.
I arrived as requested in the morning and was told he would be x-rayed that morning.
Heard nothing so called at 14.30. I was then told they do NOT have a table big enough for a Dane! So their only option was to sedate him, after the stress he had now been through I had to agree even with the risk.
They had given me a document but chosen NOT to fill in the section they should that indicates the potential cost.
When I arrived to collect him they had created a bill for almost £800!!! Obviously using the opportunity to anesthtise him to get more money, regardless of the risk to his life.
They assured me they would send the x-ray to my vet as they had provided me with no information as to the results of it. They did NOT send them to my vets, so he remains in danger. When I called to ask the receptionist she was so rude and very flippant.
If you want a complete lack of clarity at a huge price, this is the vet practice for you.
It would have be so much more simple to provide a decent service.
