Google Bad Review (2): Terrible service. On 22nd Feb 2022, I booked an appointment for 7th May. That was the earliest Saturday appointment I could get. I paid an appointment fee of £45. In the interim I found my dress at another shop, so I emailed to cancel my appointment and request a refund of the appointment fee.
I emailed Halfpenny to cancel my appointment on 11th April- giving Halfpenny an entire month’s notice of cancellation. However, Niamh refused to refund my fee stating that this is company policy.
This is the only boutique that has refused to refund me for an appointment fee. I had appointments with three other, equally popular bridal boutiques who were far more obliging. I am glad I did not get my dress from halfpenny.
