Google Bad Review 1: My husband died 2 years ago in Greenwich and Bexley hospice. He used to go to their day centre, which he really valued. This review is about the hospice care he received at the end, not their day centre who has very professional and kind staff. It has taken me 2 years to write this review, but I had to do it. Now I can look back with a clear mind and see how much the hospice failed him, and how they made his last days emotionally and physically unbearable, where it should not have had to reach that state.

Google Bad Review (2): Phoned yesterday (Saturday) after my dad has been in terrible amount of pain to the point in which he could no longer take it. I was told by a rude nurse that there was no beds available and he’ll be 5th on the waiting list anyway.. I was told by another nurse a few weeks ago if my dad was in need of a bed in the hospice to control his pain then it’ll be no problem to get him in ASAP.
My dad was told 2 months ago that he has 3 months to live so you’d think they would have more sympathy and offer something to help but no, they said we had to wait till Tuesday cause of bank holiday to be able to get a nurse out, prescribe a new type of medication and for them to administer it.
In the end we called 111 and within 6 hours they sent out a doctor who prescribed a medicine for us to pick up straight away. It helped a little bit thankfully or else we’ll be down the hospital right now which the hospice nurse advised against!!!!!
I think they treat people who’s in their last days better than others who’s in his last weeks possibly.
