If you have your own insurance be extra diligent.
They also refused to show me proof of what ‘damage' I'd paid for. Unfortunately I won't recommend them or be using them again.

Google Bad Review (2): Unlimited excess!!!!! Do not hire. Use other suppliers. They will con you. Basic excess is £1205 and then unlimited £ excess for other bumps. An unlimited excess is outrageous. This should not be legal.
Alas, the team were on hand to helpfully charge me 115% more than I originally paid to avoid an unlimited excess, or £17 per day to reduce the excess to £400. How very generous. What choice did I have? To sign a contract allowing you to charge me whatever you like for a small bump????
I’d booked via Kayak and had scanned for any ridiculous excess costs as have previously been stung. There wasn’t anything obvious so I proceeded to book. There were 6 x other suppliers available at a similar hire price. Go for a well know supplier. Everything about this set up was about making more money and luring customers in and getting them to pay more at the time of pick up. There were several other people there, all who’d hired cars from other places who were having the same conversation as me. Shocking!!
