Google Bad Review 1: Terrible experience. Came in the morning (time i booked). Door was open but nobody so I rung the bell. Waited 10mins then I called so thats when a lady came. She said i should sit that someone will be with me. 40mins went by a lady comes in. Nobody says anything. Am the only customer waiting. So I was asked to sit. No apology for been late because bare in mind on their site it says they charge late fee. Started my hair. I don't know if they used foundation on my frontal because i did not buy the hair from them. Foundation did not even match my skin tone. Hair done. Still no apology for starting my hair late. Communication is terrible. Did not even talk throughout process. Bad experience. 1st and last time going there. Their instagram is just for show.

Google Bad Review (2): I didn't enjoy my experience here and would not go back. The stylist, although polite and nice enough, is not able to be punctual. On the first of the two encounters I had with her, I was left waiting outside the closed salon (on a Saturday afternoon) for about 20 minutes after being told I could come anytime between 12-6pm, and the second time, I made my long journey from south London to Walthamstow to find that my appointment was pushed back an hour.
I got an apology for the lateness as I was leaving the salon, which I suppose is better than no apology at all (as I didn't get one on the first occasion).
As for the hair itself, I had my very first wig made. The styling of the wig was lacklustre and the cut (I asked for a bob) was not great. As soon as I got home, I had to remove the wig, wash out the excessive styling gel and tweak it again myself. In the end, I decided not to argue and go ahead and pay full price despite the disappointments because I should've taken the first encounter as a sign, trusted my instincts and taken my custom elsewhere.
Hair salons have never been my favourite place (hence my decision to go natural some years ago). Following this experience and in order to avoid another one like it, I have been inspired to learn how to make my own wigs. I sincerely hope DVH do something about their business acumen as there is some potential there but as it stands, I'd suggest that you think long and hard before going here.

I lived in South London; I had no intention to return to all the way back to Walthamstow, to your establishment, to receive more bad service.
I came to drop the hair off to you on a SATURDAY as instructed, not a Monday. Any salon that can be closed on a Saturday should (and did) cause alarm bells to ring.
I was not visibly upset as I do not waste my energy in that way; neither did I “cheer up”. You did nothing extra to make me comfortable and I never once told you I was happy with your work.
This is not how you respond to complaints or reviews of criticism. You take them into account, reflect on them, and see how and where you can improve. Do better.
