Google Bad Review (2): I would not use this service again. They work quickly, but beware – it comes at a cost.
Our brand new carpets have muddy footprints stained into them which Clockwork disclaim any responsibility for, saying carpet protection would have cost extra.
And we’ve been left with a mountain of paper from the packing service, which Clockwork won’t take back. It always used to and we were given no warning of the change in policy.
There’s a distinct feel of cost cutting at the expense of the customer. I won’t use this company again.
UPDATE – I note the response from the Owner below. I think the response that carpet protection is not included as standard says a lot. We were not made aware of this, or of the option to pay extra to protect carpets (which we would have done to protect new carpet). I would welcome a conversation with the Owner about how we might resolve the problem though. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
