Google Bad Review 1:  the person deals with our case never told us the exact address. She said we never called back which was not true. We called the office ( and have record) to confirm our viewing and got told wil be informed the address later ( which never really happened ) on the day she left without contacting us on the view day. After on told her boss she was waiting for 20 mins which we thought that was a lie as we were there and didn't see anyone. Her colleague who was at the office that day didn't pass down our message. she said she forgot. Thought out the time writing emails to them about this incident we got the feeling that they were still trying to say it's our fault. Awful experience.

Google Bad Review (2):  This focused on Winkworth Management, but we did use the Islington Office to arrange the letting. .. We moved out of our flat – a drafty run down place that was once nice I am sure. We moved out weeks before the tenancy ended, we cleaned the place to spotless perfection.

AFTER we moved out, and after our tenancy ended, Winkworth arranged for painters to come and do some much needed painting. The painters left a mess and Winkworth wanted us to pay for it – this was after our tenancy ended! So the time line is – we cleaned and left, our tenancy ended, the painters arrived and made a mess, the inspection took place (and a mess was evident), Winkworth held us hostage for a new cleaning fee. The person I was dealing with could not comprehend the timeline. She was pleasant, but I could not get her to understand the mess was made after our responsibility ended. We were not even tenants when the mess was made! So here's my advice, 1) don't let a Winkworth managed property. 2) if you have to, take pictures of EVERTHING that is wrong or could be interpreted as damaged. Last thing, hire a cleaner and get a receipt when you move out. Even if the cleaner does a poor job you can prove it was cleaned. Don't bother cleaning it yourself. Hire a cheap cleaner. If I could give Winkworth zero stars I would. Your life will be difficult under Winkworth. Keep your expectations as low as possible.

They collaborated together as the agency kept the deposit instead of transferring it to an independent company. Save yourself from what I had to go through! You can see below how they are bullying me to remove the review. They are threatening me over email and phone all day today. Avoid at all costs!!!! Scam with fake reviews from fake accounts. We have rented a flat through Jack, and he didn’t do the necessary things. Every days we had to call him, he didn’t respond or call back.
It was a terrible experience, we was in a hurry, gave all documents needed but nothing happened.
He obliged us to sign the contract which provides a start date different than the effective one (because of him).
Once he had his fee, we didn’t hear from him again.
To conclude run away !

Google Bad Review 1:  Avoid at all costs if you're a tenant. The agents here are nice though pushy, the issue is with property managers once you rent.

We were shown a property in 5 mins during the lockdown and all the issues had been been hidden with mastery (a hole in the bedroom to start with, mould, unlockable doors, broken furniture, professional cleaning was not done and this was also noted in the inventory). We have logged all issues in the tracker and anytime we call to check on the status, our property manager says she'll update by end of day and never does. That's been like it for 2 months now. Now she even started denying herself on the phone! I thought she was just lazy but turns out this is the modus operandi of all of them.

Some of their replies are hilarious and make you question if you're talking to a bot sometimes. For a wall covered in mould to the point of creating a hole WHERE WE SLEEP we were told to ‘wipe it ourselves and then let them know if it came back'. For a door that doesn't lock and a mattress that is as old as the flat and has lost all its firmess leaving the springs at a third degree encounter with your spine we were asked to ‘send a picture to show the issue'. The app doesn't allow to put videos in, and if you try sending a video in any other way they won't open it.

I wish I had 5 stars to report on, but unfortunately my experience so far has been substandard to say the least. Will Foxtons customer service change my mind? Stay tuned. In the meantime, please do yourself a favour and avoid not only this branch, but Foxtons in general. You'll dodge a bullet.

Google Bad Review (2):  If I could give 0!star I would. Their customer service is disgusting. They helped us secure a flat which we later found out was not fire safe, it was only once we had a fire inspection done off of our own account that a fire door was put in place and the fire agent said we needed to have a window in the bedroom we could open to escape from and they didn’t organise fitting one. We left our contract 4 months early due to the poor service we received. Nicola especially was rude and unsympathetic to our situation, Kerry’s customer service was also poor. All they were concefened with was getting our money. A disgrace.

Google Bad Review 1:  These people are so bad it's nearly criminal. We rented our flat out with them and they told us the tenants would be there at noon on a certain day to get the keys. At 7am that day, I was woken up by a noise…the tenants breaking into the flat with a locksmith! Apparently the agent didn't pass the message on that they were to be there at noon. Ok, these things happen. But we had agreed to rent the flat out fully furnished, and the tenants came with a moving van at 7am to take out our furniture!! The nasty female agent (Rachel, I believe) couldn't have cared less. Basically, just told me ‘the contract is signed, it's a done deal', despite the horrendous violation of contract by these terrible tenants. The people Green & Co found were from hell – they destroyed our flat in the end, painted all the walls weird colours, lost or destroyed many of our belongings, and thank god they cut their contract short and had to move out early. But the whole tenancy was a terrible struggle and the woman at Green & Co had a very nasty attitude about helping us deal with them – she's very arrogant, rude and pushy. Never, ever again!

Google Bad Review 1:  I would stay away. We were working with the Letting Agent, Freddie, during our search in late 2020/early 2021. At first he seemed very interested in helping us find a suitable home for our family. After a long and tedious search, a wonderful rental came-up which he informed us about straight away. We weren’t able to see the home for 3 weeks because the tenant wasn’t allowing visitors. Freddie promised us we’d be the first appointment on the first viewing day. Anxiously waiting, we checked-in with him and vice versa. On the final Friday he told us we would see the home first thing Monday morning. When Monday morning arrived, we didn’t hear anything from Freddie which we thought was strange. We called and he then told us an offer was made over the weekend. We were shocked and asked him why did he not guide us to put in an offer straight away, especially since this particular home was very competitive? We honestly thought we had to wait for the viewing day. And why didn’t he call us as soon as an offer was made? Too late, house was gone. We were devastated. It would have been the perfect home and area for us. He told us it wasn’t “malicious”. I don’t know if it was maliciousness, apathy, selfishness, incompetence or maybe it was a combination of all four. But we never experienced this level of carelessness from a realtor before. Stay away as they only care about themselves and are highly untrustworthy.
