Google Bad Review 1:  My father was referred via NHS to this hospital. He attended and the consultant told him he will send the prescription to our surgery. After 3 weeks we followed up with the surgery. They called and were told that we need yo wait 6 weeks in total for a simple prescription to be issued (I bet private patients are issued with one on the spot). We waited and waited and after another month or so we went again to the surgery. They called again the hospital and have been told some excuse and that they will issue one shortly.
Nothing was issued.
A week ago I called the hospital and raised this as a complaint. I was passed onto a manager who said she needs to find from the consultant what happened and she will get back to me. Guess what, she also disappeared. Shame on you all: the consultant, his secretary and the manager that was dealing with the complaint. I bet if my father had been a private patient you will be running around and sorted this within hours. Shame on you all.
PS: after 5 month waiting the prescription was never issued. Will also be putting a complaint against the hospital to the NHS directly.

Google Bad Review (2):  Disappointed. Been attending this hospital apt for over 15 years. I am a private patient. You used to get such good service here.
You could see your surgeon . Have a scan then bloods the same day. Then just book in to see your surgeon. Know you will have to book ultra one day mri one day bloods one day then book in to see surgeon. You have to wait for weeks some times for a scan . This is not private anymore. The service is beyond pathetic know. You struggle to get surgeon apts . Same issue with scans. You are just told there is nothing t. hey cat Well the fact is they can. They can give there priavte patients priory. As it's a priavte hospital. They have taken so many nhs patients just for money that us priavte patients are suffering. They have no system in place for us to have treatment faster then nhs. I have been paying 15k for my health insurance. I went to my gp on monday and he said I need you to have a scan. I can get you in the spire in 2 weeks. I was shocked. Why am I paying for private when it's so easy to get this on the nhs. It's all about money for them. After 15 years it's like a kick in the theeth. I called and complaint to be told there is a massive burden on the healthcare due to covid. This is why I go private so I dont have to wait. Very sad and disappointed. They need to change there marketing to say private and nhs. About 60 percent of their clients are nhs. I know this from speaking to people in the waiting room. Everytime I chat to someone they are from the NHS. Very sad and it's about money for them not service. No loyalty to there long standing private patients. If I have to wait 2 weeks to have a scan or see a surgeon it's not private. The last time I managed to get a cancellation and get in 2 days earlier. The time I was only offered 8.30am. The time I feel worse due to my meds and health issue. My insurance company and me have spent about 100k if not over at this place. Not impressed about them pushing us back to get nhs patients in. Also I know all surgeons do not see NHS but the ones I have tried to book with or have do. Monday left 2 ultra sound tests was promised will be called on tue surprise its wed no call and I'm chasing the. This is private??? Private joke. I left paperwork for my scan was promised to be called tue know wed rag hospital and the staff in radiologist dept was so rude. She said we have been waiting for the radiologist to call us back he has not. What the hell ???I explained I'm a priavte patient and this is not competent behaviour from him. Where she said well your not the only priavte patient also he is very busy. What??? I'm in so much pain and he has not rang them back. Hence my apt can not be booked. Just shocking. I will lodge a written complaint about this not that they will do much. Hence all the 1 stars. .

Most of the nurses and midwifes are very inexperienced, horrible I should say.The first prenatal internal examination started in 7cm. An easy syringe blood drawing led to my wife's half arm cyanosis and the nurse/midwife pressed the swollen place immediately after the drawing, which resulted in worse condition. After delivery the wrong dealing with the urinary catheter resulted in blood urine and may hurt the bladder. The newborn baby check cost 300 pounds and it just took about 2minutes, even less then the time I used to put the clothes on and off.The hour salary is much more than prime Minister I guess. The covid rule is also rediculous.I wanted to change my mum to replace myself to stay with my wife but they denied for the reason of covid control.If so, why even asked us to do the sample collection?

Google Good Review:  I was in the Howard Ward last week under the care of Dr Anderson, the care I received from Dr Anderson's private staff was outstanding. During my 3 days stay I was well looked after. The ward and rooms were clean and I felt safe at all times. The staff, from the Doctors and Nurses to the Catering team were professional and caring at all times. I would highly recommend both Dr Anderson and the Howard Ward.

Later on, when my Outstanding patient allowance overpassed the limit, I went to NHS and found my issue with a very basic test that no one had told me to do in this hospital (even the NHS doctor said that all the tests i had done were ridiculous). Google Bad Review 1:  I had a sleep study. Given I'm an insomniac the lighting and noise was laughable. Guantanamo Bay is more hospitable. Everything in the room had lights on it. The sleep study equipment was fitted for an hour between 9:30pm – 10:30pm at which point I'd past feeling tired. The lift beeps loudly every time it reaches the floor throughout the night. I gave up trying to sleep by 3am and left. I have raised this with them but have been totally ignored.

I had a surgery here and supposedly the food is inclusive and I paid for an overnight nurse to be assigned to me. I and my caretaker placed food orders but the person taking the orders wrote them for the sake of writing them. They did not bring half of our orders. My nurse had fallen asleep and my poor caretaker was the one taking care of my needs. They charged 200 pounds for an inflatable mattress that was so uncomfortable that you could not sleep on. The bathrooms were not cleaned properly and there seemed to be a plumbing issue because there was a strong odor in the bathroom. My surgeon Lucian ion who was supposed to perform my surgery had another doctor without my knowledge. How could this hospital allow this? The anasteologist put me to sleep in an isolated room with another person so I would not be able to see the second doctor that was not mentioned to. How a hospital such as this could allow a practice like this? I am left with a botched and dented nose after undergoing a Revision Rhinoplasty procedure at this hospital. They filled my medication orders and charged me excessive amount instead of giving me the prescription so I could feel the medication elsewhere that is more affordable. They should give patients options instead of having the medication filled at the hospital and charging excessive amounts. If you are going to have a surgery here please be mindful of these things. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.

Google Bad Review 1:  Have been on the phone to this hospital for 45 minutes, trying different departments, appointments, consultants’ appointments, imaging , enquiries… Nobody picks up the phone !!
It is indeed very strange for a hospital. People need a hospital to be reachable fast.

Google Bad Review (2):  My stay at Princess Grace 25.10.19.

On admission the greeting was cordial, informative and efficient. The male Nurse on duty was very helpful and reassuring, and answered the questions and concerns that my wife had. The Nurse on duty in the eve was again very helpful.

It was the way that the discharge from your Hospital was handled which was so very poor. Specifically I phoned up in the morning from home to get an approx discharge time for my wife and was told between 1 & 2pm. I arrived at the Hospital just before 1pm and made my way up to my wife’s room. She was eating her Lunch and had been told that after that she could leave.

She was also told that someone would be bringing her all the medicines that she would need to take in the days ahead. With my wife having finished her lunch and almost fully dressed and ready to go, I went to the reception on that floor and enquired as to the whereabouts of the medicines. I was told they were on their way but that they would be chased up. Some 15 minutes later with still no sign of them, I chased them again. Eventually a Nurse arrived with them (the bag of medicines), but that someone else would be along to administer a final dose of Morphine.

Another Nurse arrived and administered the Morphine and then the two just walked out of the room without even asking how my wife was feeling or how her stay had been. In fact they did not even say Goodbye! As they were walking away I asked a question but they just ignored me and kept on walking.

We investigated what medicines were in the bag & discovered that some painkillers and anti-sickness tablets were missing and had been told that the Pharmacy was now closed. And all these had been paid for in advance. So we had to get a prescription for these from her GP, who luckily had been advised of her procedure by my wife private Dr.

I then had to go and ask for some crutches, as despite these being promised, they had not been sent to her room. When we left the hospital building it was pouring with rain and there was no one there to offer any help eg holding an umbrella, a wheelchair to the taxi.
