Google Bad Review (2):  Absolutely terrible …be careful. They'll try to get more money from you. Bird broke the windscreen on motorway they made me pay £585 for a new one to get home and took my £500 deposit. Am going to take them to court as they didn't give me the right insurance in the first place. Windscreen was not insured.
And have noticed by other reviews online that they keep doing this to people.
Go elsewhere, you think its cheaper but it works out it isn't.
Can't stress how bad they are.

To respond to the response below.
It was not our fault either that a pheasant flew into the windscreen on the motorway either.
On the day ‘breakdown cover' was not mentioned, that is a blatant lie. Any would it be mentioned? On the contract I have it covers 150 miles free of charge and I was in Newcastle which is over 272 miles away. So that is a point that can be disputed in the small claims court.
As for fitting a new windscreen, it had to be done. It is illegal to drive with a broken one. Plus I was told that I could fit one as long as it did not disrupt the vans sensors.
Then I was told you could find a replacement windscreen for £99…..how much do you actually know about cars because we all knew that would never happen?
As for no problems before (and this is my fault in talking a second chance) check your records. The more you say the more you are contradicting yourself.
This is not going away.
And thanks for the threat that if it goes to court you will claim for the windscreen. I was only going to claim for my deposit now I'm claiming for the windscreen I had to replace as well. So in total £1040 so thanks again.
I say again, that is way too much money for anyone to lose for an accident that was not anyone's fault. And being left stranded in Newcastle with little or absolutely NO help and contradictory ‘advice' from you.
Breakdown cover, get your story straight.
Notice of Action will be within 2 weeks. You owe me the money for the windscreen I paid for . Look up the position of ‘betterment' in law.

Google Bad Review 1:  I think it’s bloody disgusting the amount Enterprise flex-e-rent charge you if you make a call by mobile then boo a vehicle in front r a service, especially or you have gone to their web site and the only number they give is a 0845 Number.

I have just been charged twice for the same call on my mobile to book a vehicle in for a service won’t be happening again, they should tell you that you’ll be charged these extortionate rate before you are connected. I’m sure they make enough money on their hire rate and service rates.

To be honest if I could rate their honest, I would give them minus 1000 as they don’t give you any other options no land line number come up, so it leave you no choice

Google Bad Review 1:  Shame they cannot respond to genuine enquiries; I understand people being busy and occasionally forgetting, but I spoke to a chap called Toby and he was busy, asking can he call me back later in the day. Took my number (and repeated it back to me, so it was correct), but never returned my call. I followed up with an email (from the company's email address), but received no reply. Called a week later, Toby had finished at 3pm, but was told he'd call me back tomorrow; tomorrow was a Friday before the bank holiday. I heard nothing, and for the last time, I called again. Toby said he was busy, but asked when I needed the vehicle. I said in a week. He said, on that basis, as he was busy, could he return my call on Tuesday (following the bank holiday). Guess what?….Yep, you got it – no call bsck! I've given up now and just gone to Avis, which was simple & strait forward. Shame.

Needed a car London for 8 hours was coming from MANCHESTER arriving at London Euston.

Because of short time in London asked for car to delivered at station to be picked up again a 8 in the evening .

Gave all excuses to why I should come into office and collect (bare in mind office is 40 mins way in traffic and 36mins away by train)

Finally spoke to Tobi who said “with all due respect we don’t drop cars to train stations”.

After wasting my whole morning stating otherwise .

Essentially imply I was going to steal their vehicle.

I found this absolutely laughable as I provided my license and proof of address and was willing to give them any else they required.

Funny enough they offer service of dropping car to airports !

Stay away and use another company if you don’t want to waste your time.

Unfortunately for me the reviews were misleading and I had to learn the hard way .

*Could imagine them giving all the excuses in world about deposits too

Google Bad Review 1:  Stay well away from this place!!! Absolute disgrace of a company the manager ashley Thomas should be ashamed of his attitude towards his customers, hired a van from them today that then broke down up the road with engine management light on which we are now aware the manager knew about this engine problem before hand, so why would you rent out a vehicle that is not road worthy! We then had to wait two hours for aa for recovery and the manager ashley Thomas’s attitude was he thought it was funny and was hiding in his office then came out to us shouting. He was then rude and refused a refund of our money back! Never in my life have I come across someone so unprofessional rude and obnoxious as this man for a manger I am in complete shock you personally ashley thomas are getting a head office complaint against you! not even an apology from you is disgusting! all they care about is getting your money but give you a vehicle you can’t use so think twice before you use this company be very aware we since have heard more terrible stories regarding same company same staff members !!

Google Bad Review 1:  Really terrible place. It is located just outside of the congestion zone, and they don't tell you (apparently there is a sign….) Then of course when you get hit with a congestion zone fine and they charge you that and an ‘admin fee' on top…. Cars are parked in a multi-story car, the stairwell of which is used as a toilet. Really disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

Google Bad Review (2):  DON'T EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE!!! The customer service was absolutely horrid. They never pick up the phone of the number they have provided so if you need to speak to someone you can forget about it. I had to constantly email back and forth with someone because they had the cheek to take £724.72 from my card and then claim it was “on hold” even though it was showing up on my bank statement as taken and it was over a week ago. After asking to speak to someone several times by email I was finally contacted by a ‘No ID Caller' number which I could not ring back in case I had any other issues, so yet again I had to chase them around, begging for a call. I have asked to speak to someone on the management team several times and have just been ignored. Save yourself from this waste of money and ridiculous customer service by hiring a car from ANYWHERE else.

Google Bad Review 1:  I regularly hire cars and have never experienced a service as bad as this. I had pre-paid and had all my documentation:
1. Queued for 2 hours to pick up the car. There were 4 people in front of me. When someone would finally acknowledge us, we asked what the cause of the delay was and was told it was because we all booked our cars for 8am – 10am. Why was it taking you 45 minutes per customer? Why didn't you open your doors until 10am? Why can't you handle 4 customers? Why are you blaming your customers for your absurd process?
2. When dropping off the car there were people in a queue also waiting to give their car back. After 15 mins of queuing with nobody around I went to find a guy and ask what the process was for dropping off cars. He said ‘be with you in a minute' and then after 10 minutes proceeded to go to the back of the long line of cars to check in that had formed and started to check-in from the most recent drop off. Why were you not servicing customers at the front of the queue?

Google Bad Review 1:  Complete waste of time company. Saw an Ad in the local newspaper advertising a special August promo, the woman had no idea what I was talking about. She asked when I wanted it and I said the next available slot for a transit van.. she wouldn’t give me that date, just kept asking when I wanted it. I said tomorrow and it was free? Then I turn up with the documents she asks me to bring and then declined me because I have a driving offence from 2004. An offence that, by law I’m not required to declare but their policy is 10 years without an offence.

Would’ve been easier just to ask that over the phone and save 50 minutes of driving and a tenners worth of fuel!

Google Bad Review (2):  Very poor experience:
– They added a surcharge because I was taking it Friday evening instead of Saturday morning, despite being clear about that over the phone
– The van I reserved was not ready when I came, and I had to wait for 30′ for them to find one somewhere
– The van I got was in poor condition; it was very difficult to engage the 1st and 2nd gear
– After having brought the van back without any issues and with the tank re-filled, they didn't pay my deposit back within the stated 10 days
– I had to chase them over the phone half a dozen times before I got my money back, and they were sometimes very rude over the phone and never apologised in any way
– On top of that, their price was not competitive at all, it would have been cheaper to go to Hertz and other such big brands

Conclusion: You have been warned, use them at your peril!
