Google Bad Review 1: The man that works behind the till (I’m not sure whether he’s the owner or just a customer service rep) is extremely rude and gives off a very unwelcoming demeanour, specifically towards black customers. On several occasions myself and other black students have felt very unwelcome while browsing the shop, as if under heavy surveillance by this till handler. This antagonising has been so severe, to the point that on one occasion I left the store in tears.
I realise this is an independent store, but because of its affiliation, if Goldsmith’s could address this matter in some capacity that would be very helpful. Black students are fed up of being antagonised by this man.
