Google Bad Review 1: Unfortunately I cannot recommend bagspa. They took my (admittedly very worn) classic Mulberry Bayswater bag and instead of restoring it with care they decided to paint over the leather completely. The result was a cheap looking bag which was a bit sticky to the touch. The cream coloured stitching was also replaced with brown thread because “it was the closest match”. I questioned both these things and was met with belligerence and no real explanation other than “you had the chance to ask these questions, but didn't”. The communication was also very poor, several days after emailing to get a response and then it was generally quite rude in tone. I'm sure they do good work with other bags but I would caution not to send your most valuable bags in and expect care and attention paid to them despite the long time they had the bag in their care.
*Update* the paint on the handles is flaking off now. Please, please don't send your bags here. They will be ruined

Google Bad Review (2): Disappointing service. Expensive and results were only temporary — I paid for the leather to be touched up, which lasted only two wears. Despite me taking excellent care of the bag and storing in the dust bags. Customer service were unhelpful – when I requested they re-touch up, they said it was only ever a temporary job (I was not told this at the time of the quote) and would need to pay full fee to have it done again. Completely unsatisfactory. They also held my bags for 6 weeks more than initially quoted.
