Google Bad Review 1: Woodside Locksmiths sent an employee out to look at my lock that was catching and sticking. It was diagnosed that the lock needed replacing and the door adjusted. That all seemed fine and for a month this worked. The problem returned and was worse, to the point where the key would not even turn in the lock. This cleared and happened again a few times. Luckily people were often in the house. Until my daughter was locked out of the house on a typical winter morning. As I was travelling, I called and was asked to send an email to request a visit. I did that and never heard, so chased again by phone. I was told someone would attend and they did later that afternoon. I was not there but the locksmith told me he couldn’t find a problem, blamed it on shifting door in weather and then invoiced me for an emergency call out. When I pointed out that this was the same problem for which we’d originally called them out and so it should actually be a warranty they denied any liability. I disagreed. Albert then told me he’d cancel the invoice but never to call the business again. When I pointed out that I therefore needed the security code for my keys he tried to tell me a fib and then wonder why I’d need anymore keys anyway.. then finally said if you need keys you can call. Sadly being a bit loose with the truth on their key security to customers is not the best for a locksmith. It’s sad as I had used them originally to safeguard my house and thought after the original call out they’d done the right work. Now I can only wait for another locksmith to diagnose the problem.

IN RESPONSE
The response provided by Albert contains lies and is a completely disingenuous attempt to mitigate the stance he took. He did not meet my daughter. He did not make a statement saying he would come out again with prepayment (quite the opposite… and I quote ‘if you are locked out don’t ring me again’) and as stated previously he originally told me he would not provide me with keys. I would like my locksmith to tell the truth. Take what you will from that.
