Google Bad Review: Very rude and unwelcoming SENCO lady. I started the conversation by being cheerful and friendly she came across cold from the start. I explained that my daughter pulled me over to the nursery and I was enquiring as to whether there are any places. She said there were afternoon places as if to put me off, I said that was fine. I then explained that my child has additional needs to which she replied I'm not sure we have the capacity and then went on to say they don't offer 1-2-1 support. I said that's fine as I have an EHC plan and finding in place. She then said come in and have a look and we will see but bear in mind that we don't have to offer a place as nursery isn't statutory. Needless to say after that I was put off. I don't know how some of these people get their jobs. Just so unpleasant and miserable. There are ways to word things without making a parent feel worse than she already does.
