Google Bad Review 1: DO NOT SELL YOUR jewellery here. They offered me £1,900 which was less than half of what other places offered me.

Minar Jewellers in Tooting offered me more than £3,800 for the same!!

H&T Pawnbrokers In Tooting matched Minar jewellers price as well. A pawn shop in Weybridge also offered similar price.

How could Western Jewellers offer less than half the price?! You should always do business in a decent manner with respect and honour. Not like this.

IF YOU WANT TO SELL YOUR GOLD PLEASE CHECK WITH OTHER JEWELLERS AS WELL. CHECK WITH MINAR JEWELLERS AND H&T. DON’T JUST CHECK WITH ONE PLACE.

Some other jewellers in Tooting also offered me a rubbish price but no one as low as £1,900 hahaha.

Thank you for replying. We visited on 29 July 2020 in the afternoon. Please check your CCTV for confirmation.

I am surprised you think it is far fetched when that is exactly what we experienced. On that day we had been to two stores in Tooting before we came to yours and we were offered £3,800 at both places. We then came to your shop and after much understandable testing etc we were offered £1,900. We explained to the lady that we have been offered £3,800 within the previous two hours but she started saying things in a different language to her colleagues to explain why she wouldn’t budge from her valuation.

The disparity in Tooting, and more broadly across the country, is huge depending on the shops you sell gold so I completely disagree with your statement that all gold shops in Tooting are competitive. For example, two shops in Tooting offered us £3,800, one shop offered us £2,600 and yours offered us £1,900. Although you own a jewellers I can only presume that you, understandably, have no experience in selling gold in Tooting.

My advice to all people who are selling gold is to make sure you get at least 5 quotations from a variety of different jewellers. As has been proved by my experience if we had accepted the ludicrous £1,900 offer we would have lost out in £1,900!!
