Google Bad Review 1: Can’t fault Liza, the technician that did my nails. She was friendly and offered a terrific service. But the owner, Verity, has an attitude problem. Terribly rude customer service over the phone (passive aggressive, patronising and dismissive), then making me feel uncomfortable after assuming I was listening to her, her client and another technician’s conversation (I was looking around the salon/had headphones in anyway – very, very strange). Not impressed at all. Spoken to a friend who also refuses to go back due to the rude staff.
Edit:
Following this review, I have since been contacted by Verity (I did not give the salon permission to have my number on record, so I'm not even sure where she found it), who offered me a bribe to remove the review. Please see screenshots of the conversation below. After ignoring the initial message, I was met with abuse (insulting my appearance etc.) and ‘threats'. I would give this salon negative stars if I could.

I have now had the police called on me. Unsure why. Awaiting to hear from them.

Google Bad Review (2): ***WATCH OUT*** DO NOT GO HERE. SHE CHOPPED A CHUNK OF MY HAIR OUT AFTER GETTING WAX IN IT!
I booked in for an eyebrow wax and tint as well as a microdermabrasion facial.
When I arrived, I was asked several times which treatments I would be having, and was interrupted each time before I could finish. Verity, the owner told me that I shouldn’t get the microdermabrasion because my skin is terribly dry and that I must stop using my current home care because I am using the worst possible products (products which are 100% natural), without suggesting what to use instead.
She ended up doing a different kind of facial which was ok but if anything, my face feels more dry than it did before.
Moving on to the real DISASTER. I asked for my eyebrows simply to be tidied and tinted. Instead, I have “HD brows” which are 3-4 shades darker than my natural hair colour, one brow is waxed shorter than the other from the middle and is noticibly shorter.
She got wax in my hair. I was reassured that it was only in one strand of hair and that it happens all the time. She took the scissors to cut it out, it took ages and finally, she showed me the ball of wax and a small amount of my hair and put it in the bin. I hadn’t realised until I had left the salon and was half way down the road that a CHUNK OF MY HAIR HAD BEEN CUT OUT and was resting on my arm!!!!!!!!!!!
This lot cost me £65 and I LOOK RIDICULOUS!!
