Google Bad Review (2): Sadly, not a positive experience with Yassin. In short, the work that was done did not resolve the issue (admittedly the issue may not be obvious to fix), not clear the work was necessary, and Yassin left the job without testing whether the heating system works claiming it would take too long due to a pump that's too small. Addressed my concern to Yassin he feels everything was done properly and that he underbilled me anyway as the job took longer than he expected. Longer version below.
I called Yassin Monday morning and he came in fast (which was nice) to help with water dripping out of a flow pipe airvent. He turned the boiler back on and possibly screwed the cap on the flow air vent and suggested replacing the radiator / replacing the second (flow) air vent / replace hot water cylinder thermostat and “refill the heating system, balance the heating plus commission and take air out of the system” on Friday the same week. I agreed with the suggestions with the understanding that following them will ensure heating / hot water works. (The airvent was not leaking any more between Tuesday and Friday when the boiler was use to heat the water). On Friday Yassin left without “balancing the heating” / “taking air out of the system”. In the next few days the air kept coming out of the flow airvent all the time the boiler was on even though Yassin assured me that problem would be resolved. Yassin left the return pipe airvent with the cap screwed on as the water (not the air) was flowing out of it. Yassin mentioned that the pump was too small to circulate the system. A week later the boiler stopped with an F.23 error, which I informed Yassin about as well as about the air that kept coming out of the vent. Yassin response was to change the system from gravity to sealed and to replace the pump. I had another plumber come in today who confirmed that the pump was ok, bled all of the radiators, released some water from one of the radiators, and got to the point when all radiators were hot. Given all of this, I have both little confidence in the necessity of the things done by Yassin and the quality of the work.
