Google Bad Review: We are so disappointed with Urban PawPrints. Brian seemed like such a lovely guy when we met up with him but on our dogs first stay we did not receive a response from him for 48 hours despite 10 calls and 6 WhatsApp messages.
We began to get so worried because we could see that Brian had been online on his WhatsApp account but just wasn’t answering our messages or calls; even though our messages were explaining that we were worried and all we needed to know was that JJ was ok.
We didn’t know what else we could do, so we decided to end our trip early, and made the 3.5 hour journey back late at night to pick up our dog (2 days earlier than planned) – we were so worried on that journey back home because we just couldn’t fathom how someone in their right mind could ignore such concerned messages.
We arrived at the house to collect JJ and Brian’s partner told us that he hadn’t fed her the right food that she needed, despite us leaving clear instructions with Brian.
We were so upset. We asked where Brian was and his partner then let it slip that Brian had in fact been at the F1 all weekend and he had lied to us when he said he would be with JJ.
We do not mind if JJ was staying with Brian’s partner instead of Brian – but we needed to at least be informed. The fact that we didn’t have the partner’s number, the partner didn’t have ours to keep us updated, her food requirements had not been transferred and that Brian had such lack of empathy to see our worried messages and not respond at all is all very concerning.
This happened on Saturday and it is now Friday. We have not heard from Brian since we rushed back to collect JJ late that Saturday night. He has not called or messaged to offer an explanation or apology.
