Google Bad Review 1:  After a week of postponing, i finally got to see a car advertised on autotrader.co.uk
The tyres condition advertised as not accurate. The car had 4 tyres of 3 different types, the front ones as the end of their life, and another one with visible repairs on it. The last MOT failed 2 month ago mentioned the front tyres as a dangerous defects and i doubt they were changed.
The interior was still wet, after the car was cleaned. Overall the interior was decent.
The exterior was also ok, except some little repairs made in the front part which were visible.
The car had no service history, no MOT history( thanks god they are available on-line – 2 of 4 were failed), only a service invoice for oil changing and the latest MOT. And ofcourse the guy from the reception had no idea about nothing regarding the car 🙂
This was all pretty dodgy for me, so i walked away asap.
Not recommended!

Google Bad Review (2):  I sent a message regarding a car I saw advertised on an RAC site. The first salesman who contacted me was helpful and didn't pressure me when it came to the purchase. I booked in a trip over from Surrey and I left with the car feeling pretty happy as they had bought my old car off me which I was going to scrap, albeit slightly surprised by an admin fee.

Within a few days the air con stopped working and the suspension started making a squeaking noise. It turned out the thermometer stopped working, reversing sensor alarm was haywire (should have done more reversing during the test drive…), and the oil indicator suggested only 1000 miles to go, despite a full RAC service including a complete oil change?
When I called to book this work in a second (grumpy and patronising, who ended every sentence with “young man” as if this was my first car purchase) salesman said I should have purchased a warranty, which was news to me. This second salesman wanted to close early to go watch the football, and refused to make an appointment, even though it was 30 minutes before they shut; it was mid-week, not late on a Sunday.

I called back another day, got hold of the first salesman. He stuck to his word about not needing a warranty only once I specifically quoted him “bring the car back if anything comes up”. I specifically asked him if their garage would be OK if I brought the car over late morning, as it's 90 minutes away from me and that's after rush hour. This message wasn't passed on as their garage wasn't expecting me at all and were irritated that that I had a list of things to fix in an afternoon. They suggested I come back tomorrow, and told me to get the train. They started looking at my car 30 minutes before they closed, so driving over and spending the day working in a nearby cafe was a waste of time. The first salesmen was no longer as friendly and became very “yeah it's fine mate, it doesn't need fixing mate, you don't need a thermometer mate, we'll switch the reversing sensor off instead of fixing it mate, the oil just needed topping up mate”. I'm not exaggerating how “matey” he suddenly became.

They told me that the air con needed topping up (despite being apparently topped up immediately before I bought it, as I asked at the time) and that the knocking in the suspension would cause zero wear. I got my local garage to inspect the air con and they immediately located a leak in the condenser. I couldn't face driving back to Triangle Car Sales and dealing with their salesmen and busy garage staff, so paid for the replacement (£300 including labour) at a local garage that are honest about when work needs doing.
The knocking noise was supposedly a piece of the suspension that would cause no wear and tear, but come my next MOT, had badly damaged the top of the suspension and the whole strut was replaced, costing £500.

18 months later and the car is running, but has needed work doing on it every few months, despite having only 70k on the clock. Beware persuasive salesmen who are initially friendly.
