Google Bad Review 1: Red Flags just at quote stage – AVOID!
We were looking to have Karndean flooring installed and this company came up as a verified installer. We decided to visit their showroom as they were local to us. After viewing some of the flooring options we arranged for a home visit to get measured and obtain a quote.
This is where the ‘Red Flags' started – the ‘quote' was literally one total amount. We went back and asked for a breakdown of costs (like any person would/should expect). We were expecting to see – cost of flooring, cost of install, cost of materials etc. What we got was one additional figure based on ‘circa' total sq m.
After this, we didn't bother as clearly this company does not trade on transparency. We went to another company to purchase the Karndean flooring and are now in the process of getting installation costs…but it's clear, this route is significantly cheaper than using this company.

Google Bad Review (2): There’s a reason they want cash upfront – they bodge along and have a ‘that’ll do’ attitude. We waited months for our flooring to be fitted, both amtico and carpet. We arranged to be away during the install for obvious reasons. When we returned to the ‘finished job’ we discovered that they hadnt bothered to lay an underlay in the bedroom – and hadn’t even removed the carpet in the wardrobes, that’s right, they just stuck our new carpet on top of the old one! They had left Stanley knife slashes and the skirting boards and sprayed adhesive foam up the walls in several places. Threshold bars were missing or the wrong colour and they hadn’t even bothered to trim the carpet that went into an under stairs cupboard. The amtico was cut lazily so there were no neat edged around the kitchen units and the odd tile just wasn’t stuck down. All the floors that they laid are uneven so none of the skirting boards fit properly and there were loads of other things too. When challenged they did what all bad trades people do and blame the person there before – but they had had multiple site visits prior to the install so this is complete rubbish. They were also installing over the course of a week and could’ve called us at any time to let us know if there was a problem, but no, they just bodged it and gave it a ‘that’ll do’. I asked for compensation for the poor work and the fact it had taken further months to get any kind of remedy, but they weren’t having it and tried to just ignore the messages. They are cowboys. Cash up front, do they work as quickly and cheaply as they can and then move on. I’m still paying to remedy their terrible work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

With constantly shifting dates on our reno project the team were extremely understanding and flexible on moving installation dates in a way I've not seen from other carpet companies. Constantly good natured…excellent standard products and fitting and all for a very competitive price that beat most other suppliers. Thank you Terry and team.
