Google Bad Review 1: I have used Townsend (also known as Property Insurance center) for several different properties over the years. They are terrible. If you have a claim or something that does not profit them, they constantly ‘forget’ to deal with it. Here are two examples. I recently sold two properties next door to each other, one was insured by another company and one through them. Following the sale I called and cancelled the policy with both. The first company refunded the balance within a few days. The property insurance center (Townsend) said it could take up to 6 weeks. Almost 3 months later after my third communication with them I received my refund.
Another example – I had a claim in 2019 and we submitted the details, after months we had to chase this up to get it moving again. They seriously just don’t care if it’s not something that benefits them.
