Google Bad Review 1: Here's what happened to our 4y old son when he was let with TotStars for his after school classes. He was allowed to leave the playground unsupervised and without any assistance during school pick up time 3.30-3.45pm.
Here's what we were made aware of by one of the mothers…
One of the mothers, who was having an afterschool conversation with another parent, spotted a small boy playing far outside of the Football Club area, unsupervised by any of the TotStars staff, in clear breach of their legal duty of care to our kids and the trust we, as parents place in their hands when we leave our children with them.
It so happened that our son [the boy] slipped and fell, possibly hurting himself. He cried for help but there was no staff to come to his rescue. He continued being in distress for considerable time. Thankfully, when the two mums realised there was no one attending to help him, they went to his aid and comforted him. He was unable to speak and was crying out loud. He was unable to say his name or where his carers were. It was fortunate that one of the girls recognised him and informed her mother of his name and where he came from.
After settling him down, the two mothers returned him to the Football area. Most astonishingly, TotStars staff had not noticed our son's disappearance and did not even bother to check his wellbeing when he was brought back. No questions were asked, no actions taken!
Of particular concern is that during the period of his disappearance, the main school gates remain wide open, with parents and carers walking in and out. The incident could have become far more dangerous if he had decided to wander off through the gates and gone missing from the School.
This incident raises some serious questions; how could a 4 year old boy be left without any supervision? How could his absence go unnoticed for so long? Why did their staff not check on his wellbeing upon his return?
TotStars staff nor the management was in touch with us to inform us about the incident or explain what was going on until we got in touch with them first 4 days later.
An absolute incompetence and rather unusual approach by keeping quiet thinking the whole incident will go unnoticed. Further actions are being taken against TotStars Ltd.
