Google Bad Review: Dr. Tamsin came highly recommended to me, which is why I am sitting here baffled and devastated by my botched results. I look like I’ve survived a stroke. I’ve been getting Botox in my forehead for about 4 years, but this was my first visit to Dr. Tamsin. I requested fillers for slight marionette lines, she suggested Botox instead. I asked, “will that change my smile at all?” She laughed and said no, as if the mere suggestion were absurd. Fast forward to just over a week later. My smile is completely lopsided and it’s even making my chin look uneven. I look distorted. Like a Picasso painting. I look in the mirror and want to cry. Dr. Tamsin suggested this effect might subside in a week or so, but I have never seen any of my Botox subside at all once it’s settled (we’re 11 days post-injection). Wouldn’t that mean we’d have to get topped off every few months? Makes no sense. But I think what is really driving me to leave this review is the fact that Dr. Tamsin is now telling me “a crooked smile is a recognized unwanted side effect of Botox.” Excuse me? That would have been nice to hear when I was in her office. If I had known there was even a slight risk my smile would be affected, I would have refused the treatment. That is so professionally unethical and irresponsible that I’m in disbelief. I was looking forward to a big birthday trip in Spain next week. Now I want to hide under a rock. ik humiliated. If you go to this clinic ask questions. A LOT of questions. And trust your instincts. Your gut knows better than even the most highly trained doctor.
