Google Bad Review 1: Having been to this salon when it first opened I was keen to go again as it was a great first experience.
Sadly the second experience for my friend and I was no where near as positive.
We both had gel manicures that came out pretty shoddy and because the technician working on us didn't speak any English we couldn't even communicate things to be fixed. She cut both our nails and cuticles so badly they bled and have been bleeding since.
The colour selection was awful, there was no cleaning of products in between, and both manicures took 40 mins longer than they should have done.
When we complained to the salon they offered a refund and then when we asked for that to be fulfilled they reneged the offer.

For a close knit community we would expect them to be more cogniscent of the way recommendations for places goes, but alas this will not be a salon we will ever go to again or be recommending to anyone.

Google Bad Review (2): I was disappointed with my deep tissue massage appointment, I wish I had gone to a sports therapist or a trained professional. The therapist was kind and well-mannered but the massage it elf was more like a swedish massage minus the relaxing atmosphere, not deep tissue which is supposed to focus on knots, adding pressure and working through the body. The therapy room was next to the door so you hear everyone coming in and the other therapist scolding another.

Though the salon was busy, I overheard a lady scolding the member of staff, that ‘she is losing her money'. I really object to the toxic culture this reinforces, she should be properly trained and given the opportunity to learn. I paid £30 for a 30 min deep tissue massage, she reduced the fee to £25 for the poor service but I really wished I had refused to pay. It was such a waste of my time, my upper back is still as sore as it was before I went there.
