Google Bad Review 1: Firstly, I want to point out that some of the five star reviews have been left by SJP’s own recruitment consultants who haven’t even bothered to use a phoney name.
Secondly, my experiences with this agency have been poor. The consultants are recent graduates with no understanding of the legal market or the culture of specific firms. They will bombard you with phone calls for inappropriate roles and then attempt to persuade you by misrepresenting the position.
I don’t even blame the recruitment consultants, who are naive and under pressure to hit their monthly targets. But I do think the business model- which treats candidates like inanimate commodities- is deplorable and takes advantage of recent graduates.
There are much better firms in London!

Google Bad Review (2): Went in to their offices to meet one of their senior consultants. Seemed very friendly and efficient – got me two interviews straight away with some promising companies. He was in contact a lot before the interviews – insisted on me calling and sending feedback to him right after the interview – was very hands-on. A week after the second interview I hadn't heard anything from him, so I followed up twice, with no response. To date (almost a month later) I have not heard a single word from him, not even a simple no that would have taken mere seconds. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and competence.
