Google Bad Review (2): We went for Sunday lunch yesterday.The booking system was fine and easy to use. The table was ready when we arrived, well set out and clean, however the food and service was well below what could reasonably be expected. My friend had the fish and chips, which was too greasy, I had the veg option which was small, cold on one side and luke warm on the other. The menu is also limited.
When ask how the food was and I said about the veg option being small, I was cut off with a mumbled curt response.
Shame I've been using the Railway Tavern on and off for years, and yesterday was just not go enough.
