Google Bad Review (2): I wish there was a zero star option. Truly awful company to deal. Just a word of warning, stay clear. accused me of not fulfilling booking, than threatened me with legal action. When the error was completely on their side and their administration. I enquired about a booking some weeks ago but had not confirmed it and neither did I pay the deposit to confirm it. Their policy states that if a deposit is not paid within 24 hours of enquiry then the booking is void. As far as I am concerned as I had not paid a deposit the booking was null and void. Somewhere along the line another customer had made a booking and paid a deposit for his own cat and THEY mistakenly put it under my name- so to them it looked like that I had made the booking, paid the deposit, didn't bring my cat in and still owe them money.
They then accused my wife of trying to pull a fast one, accusing her of getting her boyfriend to pay the deposit and then. ‘trying to get away with it' and when challenged and not backing down to their demands and threats of legal action and false accusations Debbie slammed the phone down only to call back with her tail between her legs apologising because SHE had got it wrong. Now imagine I was an elderly/vulnerable person having to put up with threats from Debbie and her staff member Chloe!
All conversations with this awful company have been recorded including her threats and subsequent groveling apology. Be wary of leaving your cat with these lot. It's about the money for them and clearly not the welfare of your cats.
In response to the owners response: you can send as many emails as you like, an email is not a contract. I am not obligated to to respond to you, or pick up the phone as I am away and have not confirmed anything with you. the lack of response, as a business owner should have sent a clear message that I was not interested, and why would I respond if I have not paid any deposit to confirm my booking. It seems your view is ‘if I send the customer an email it's binding'. The mistake was completely on your side. Me not responding to is not a my mistake, especially as I have not seen the emails because they were all sitting in my trash. The damage had been done. You flatly accused me of lying, pulling a fast one. Whilst I appreciate you called to apologise the damage had been done by your tone, your threats of litigation and accusations.
