Google Bad Review: Arrogant, Rude and unprofessional.

I wouldn't recommend The Dentist to anyone. My partner and I have both had negative experiences. My experience recently involved being told explicitly over the phone that treatment would be possible during an emergency appointment only for that promise to be backtracked when I visited.

I clarified if this was possible 3x before booking an appointment and chosen to cancel other appointments with other practices on this basis. (Note: should the practice respond, it is likely there will be a generic statement along the lines of “our receptionists are trained to never agree to treatment promises over the phone… therefore this isn't true” – I was in need of urgent care, so was very diligent on checking before booking).

Upon arriving at the practice, the dentist popped his head around to say “*my name*… come this way”, not exactly a warm welcome, the dentist then disappeared down a corridor and I had to guess which room he had gone into.

Upon finding the room, the dentist sat with his back to me, asked me to relay my issue. Hardly a good example of a positive bedside manner, no empathy and he didn't even look at me, “the patient”. I felt as though I was an inconvenience coming to The Dentist Putney as a customer. Very odd.

In the surgery room I was told that the appointment was just an assessment and that there's not enough time to do any treatment, this was in total contrast to what I had agreed over the phone – the dentist acted arrogantly like I was being incredulous thinking I would be receiving treatment in an evening. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, the unprofessional nature and the environment was not a positive one, so I made a sharp exit. I wouldn't recommend.
