Google Bad Review 1:  The majority of the team that I encountered were rude and extremely unprofessional and my biggest regret was buying from this store. I left the bridal store crying on several ocassions and ended up having to complain (what a waste of time and energy). There are much better boutiques out there and I would seriously consider before buying from here. I hated coming in for my fittings and ended up with a dress that was a completely different colour and did not fit properly (even though it was made to measure).

Google Bad Review (2):  It has taken me years to post this review but I think it’s important to share with potential customers my experience with purchasing and having alterations performed on my wedding dress at Morgan Davies. The initial consultations with Rebecca were fantastic, she was patient, supportive and friendly. Unfortunately, what has led me to provide such a poor review is the fitting process which resulted in the hem of my dress being too short where even now years later I look back on the photos of my dress taken on my wedding day and can’t help feeling disappointed with the short hem. My issue was that the hem of the dress had already been taken up before I had my first fitting (even before I knew what shoes I would be wearing which they were well aware of). I would imagine usual practice is to take the hem up once I had the shoes sorted. What made it worse was the dress still needed to be fitted to my body after the hem was taken up which meant that my dress was getting shorter and shorter at each fitting. I was very clear in communicating my expectations with the alterations to the staff as evidenced in emails. I also expressed my concerns with the dress fittings at the time and the response from the staff made me feel that I was being an overly anxious and a controlling bride to be. In the end they weren’t able to fix the hem before I flew out to Sydney for my wedding day despite my requests, so in the week before my wedding day I had to visit a reputable seamstress in Sydney (whose clients include Australian celebrities) who agreed that the dress was too short and did their very best to lengthen the dress which is not an easy task! Needless to say this caused unnecessary stress and I was and still am very disappointed about the end result of the dress and the lack of acceptance from the team that the short hem was due to their poor oversight. You do not expect this quality from this store especially given the price. At the very least I would expect an apology and compensation. For reference, I’ve attached the pictures from some of the fittings and the actual dress on the day. Beware!
