Google Bad Review 1:  The service in Specsavers in West London is questionable, however none of them are worse than this branch. The staff are incompetent. I booked an appointment over the phone for a contact lens check, only to be told when I arrived that there is no record of the appointment on the server, wasting my time and my lenses. I booked another appointment, only to be told that my appointment had to be changed, which made it very close to my following appointment elsewhere. Then when I arrived, they said there would be a 20 minute delay (bearing in mind that this was very early in the morning. How can there be that much of a delay?). The staff member who saw me refused to see my point of view on the situation, and also refused to supply me with an emergency supply of lenses needed for my holiday, despite all of their mistakes with my appointments. I have bought my lenses elsewhere in time for my holiday. Specsavers, you have COMPLETELY lost my business. I won't be returning to any of your branches. If you want to discuss this with me and find out who that member of staff was, my appointment was at 9:30am on 8th July, changed to 10:20am, then to 10:40am because of the delay.

Google Bad Review (2):  I had new reading glasses made by them and they upsold me a new pair of prescription sunglasses. I was told I have some sun damage in my right eye and I would need proper protection against the sun. Any old sunglasses would not do!!
I chose a frame and I picked them up a week later.
When I used it the first time, one arm fell off. I tried to repair it by using a screw of my old reading glasses (which I still used occasionally), but it did not fit. So I handed in both pairs to have them fixed. I asked the lady to leave them in their own cases but I was told she cannot as they use their tray. When I picked the glasses up, I was handed my glasses in a zip bag which I placed on the top of my bag. I stumbled and fell outside the store and the zip bag fell out – I only realised when I got home that day.
I enquired later on, if someone handed in my glasses and they said no. There was no empathy that it wasn't my fault in the first place.
I had to go back and had a screw fitted on a new pair of glasses. The screw should not have come off in the first place or maybe there was not one in the first place!.
I still need new pair of sunglasses for proper protection and lost £65 plus the old reading glasses I still used.
The lady I spoke to, did not care !
