Google Bad Review:  I attended the Adult beginners class at 5pm on Sunday, the class costs £11.60 which is expensive when compared to other gymnastics clubs (HarrowEast LondonHendon) that charge £5 and £8. I found the studio to be very small compared to the other gymnastic locations I had visited in the past, e.g Harrow school of Gymnastics, East London Gymnastics Club. Its small size could prove dangerous whilst trying to practise acrobatics on a busy open session night.
The teacher of the adult beginners class, an elderly man who wore glasses was rude and took offence easily when you asked him for advice, or perhaps it was just me he had a problem with. During the class I requested advice on how I could improve my handstand, as I proceeded to balance on my hands he promptly barked at me, ‘That’s not a handstand!!
He gave no advice on how I could improve but continued to berate and criticise what I was doing. He then ignored me for the rest of the class and gave no advice on any of the class activities I took part in. He seemed content to talk about me behind my back with the other students in the class, naturally after the handstand affair I was reluctant to ask him for help . Needless to say I will not be visiting Talacre again and would advise anyone planning to attend the adult beginners class not to bother. The class is expensive, the location is small and the teacher is rude.
