Google Bad Review: Had an angry phone call from their branch Managing Director Roger, who was outraged when I suggested reducing the price due to a survey. We did get the price reduced, I ignored his bad and rude phone call and feel I should warn other customers be wary of this sort of behaviour. Painful, ill mannered and unfortunately I gather the vendor also had a similar experience. Was in two minds as to whether I should write a review but feel its worth warning future customers.

try to immagine, you are away for a long holiday, or you are at the hospital and one day you receive an email from your agency with the new contract to sign… not even the time to realise what's going on and the day after some strangers at home; how does it sound for you this?
for me they have been unprofessional and later on they treat us with an extremely arrogant attitude.
Now they push us to sign the new contract making silly threats.
last but not the least their fees are super expensive.

london is full of good agency, no need to use this one

Google Bad Review: Terrible agency that doesn't prioritise the customer experience. I was contacted 4 (edit: 5) times in one day by this agency from different branches including the Shepherds Bush location, with each agent calling me with the exact same message as if they were reading it from a script. There needs to be a better CRM system put in place and better skills in resolving customer complaints.

Edit: Even after submitting a request to not be contacted, I was emailed by a 5th agent in the same day, and he shared properties that I was already booked in to see. Truly, there needs to be an improvement in how Dexters communicates with new and potential clients, because my experience has been very upsetting and dissatisfactory.

Unfortunately had a critically poor experience renting with Hamptons. Despite having moved out 5 months ago I am yet to receive my deposit in full, owing to an administrative error which the liability has been passed onto myself the customer to bear.

Very poor customer care with Hamptons, namely Silvana Borja, no longer responding to communications. Which in all fairness, is probably as helpful as their previous responses.

Prospective tenants and landlords please consider before choosing to use their services.

Google Bad Review: If you don't want to experience troubles, I strongly recommend you avoid this agency. The tenants have very few, if any, protection and their contracts protect exclusively the landlord. I had to go through many problems in order to leave, and I had to contact Citizen Advice and Shelter to have some advice on how to deal with them. They don't make any refund, and to get my deposit back I had to threaten them (after much more than 10 working days, as the contract states). Plus, the cost of their properties is much higher compared to the rest of the market and once I moved in I realised everything was broken and the room was therefore in awful conditions. The agents told me they would fix all the problems, which they didn't. Last, they declare they don't charge the tenants any fees, while in reality they charge the tenant 30£ to “protect” the deposit, and they charged me of professional cleaning cost which they'll never do. You're welcome.

Google Bad Review: Went to a viewing and wanted to book a second one for the next day to show my partner but the female agent didn’t want to write it in her diary she had on her even though I offered her a pen as she didn’t have her one just saying she’ll remember tomorrow and the time in head. The next day arrives so I turn up at the property but there’s no sign of her so ring the office to be told that it’s already been let and should’ve been contacted and that the agent is on her day off. Very unprofessional as it was a total waste of my journey and day. A simple text or phone call letting me know an offer had been put through the day before would’ve been appreciated. Next time I suggest making use of a pen or cancelling viewings if properties go off the market not wasting people’s time.
