Google Bad Review 1: TOTAL RIP OFF. They charged me over £400 to lay the carpets. It took half a day and then they refused to cut down the doors so the carpets would fit. What carpet layers don't do that ??? None of the doors would shut. It cost me another £150 to get a carpenter to do it. AVOID

Google Bad Review (2): This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in my life in Tapi Brent Cross. I have ordered a carpet for £350 on the 2nd of February and was told that i should have it delivered in 2 weeks max. March came and no ones has called me or sent my a mail to notify me so I called and was informed that apparently the person who does the edging only comes once a week therefore its delayed…. absolutely acceptable. April came (we are 2 months later now) so i thought id give them a call, turns out no one knows anything about my carpet… it made me a bit upset but was promised by Mona (a student who works there only part time) that she would call me back which she did and looked like the carpet has been delivered ages ago but for some reason it was forgotten at the back of the warehouse for some reason. Once again I was promised that it will be delivered, I have arranged it for a Friday between 9-12 but nothing happened, noone came the whole day (thats why i did not go anywhere). I went to the store next day and was asking for the reason my carpet was not delivered, the manager Shaba(?!) apologised and promised to refund my delivery charge for £30 thats I had to pay by cash to the guy who supposed to deliver it (apparently he does not even work for Tapi…) i was told that she needs to have their head offices approval which is fine and was promised once again that it will be done and someone will drop off the money at my flat (?!?!) – looks a bit shady from such a company. Anyway, obviously nothing has happened so I went in couple of days later (for some reason they never answer the landline) where i met the other manager, Raj. Now, i dont know how is this guy became a manager, but he is nowhere close to the student who works there part time. The most arrogant, rude and unprofessional staff who lack any kind of customer service training. He obviously did not know about the whole situation, but instead of trying to contact someone when i asked, he was outrageously rude and was just repeating their policies. When I asked for the head offices number he refused to give it to me and also stated that he has just started and there are no managers around (i found out he is a manager only later when one of his collegagues told me). I have returned a couple of days later and met Shaba again, she asked Raj to perform the refund on my card which he refused, turned his back on me and walked out of the store… thats customer care at best! Utterly disappointed, the quality of carpet is great but I told all my friends who like it to take their money somewhere else!
