Google Bad Review 1:  THIS VET NEARLY LET OUR DOG DIE! We took our bulldog to the emergency vet as he was panting and short of breath. We are experienced bulldog owners. We were referred by the Vets4Pets emergency line. When he went in, his temperature was normal (so no heatstroke) but he was distressed. The first ‘estimate' was £1300, and when we said it seemed excessive, and questioned an abdominal scan for a breathing issue, we were told he might need a general anaesthetic blah blah blah. We were told in a highly condescending manner ‘if money an issue' – it's not, but what a disgraceful attitude – the new ‘estimate for ‘limited' treatment came down to £600 – £700. The so called ‘vet' proceeded to tell us he was morbidly obese (he is not), and should be 32kg (at which point I laughed – he is a super long large bully), and he was ‘near death' and ‘unlikely to survive the night', but ‘according to our budget' would give the ‘limited' treatment and call us in a few hours. We paid a £500 deposit, but we had a bad feeling, so we sat down in the waiting room to watch and observe. As we were waiting we noticed the vet running back and forward printing more ‘estimates' for other 'emergencies' and the assistant just continuosly swiping Credit cards. We repeatedly asked what treatment our dog was receiving to be told ‘we are busy with other emergencies'. After 2 hours of him clearly being ignored as the ‘vet' was with other 'emergencies', we called a halt and said we were taking him away. We were told the bill was £533 – this was a 5 minute consultation and a sedative and have him sit in a kennel with no treatment – the bill had no detail or line items, just £33.48, plus the £500 deposit. The ‘vet' did not talk to us when we were leaving, and gave no medication despite the dog's obvious distress. When he was walking out he could not breath and could hardly stand – THEY HAD DONE NOTHING!!!!!!!!! Even the nurse said he would be better at home with us!!!!!! We brought him home, gave him Tramadol to relax him and within an hour he was sound asleep, which is what he needed more than anything – simply relax and sleep. He woke up this morning, tail wagging, went for a short walk and had a drink, and back to sleep. We are not stupid, we know he was heat stressed, and needed to calm down. We called our own (excellent) vet who works with Vets 4 Pets in Dumbarton who saw him last week, saying he should be 32kg – he laughed! His opinion the Emergency Vet had no clue. THIS EMERGENCY VET IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE – LEAVING A DISTRESSED DOG WITH NO TREATMENT IN A KENNEL FOR 2 HOURS GASPING FOR BREATH WHILST DEALING WITH SO CALLED ‘EMERGENCY CASES'. WE ARE GOING TO REPORT THEM!!!!!!!!

Google Bad Review (2):  The manager Laura is terrible, she talks to clients like they are idiots and she deliberately embarrassed a staff member in the reception area. If she treats staff that way I dont want to know how she treats pets behind the scenes. Never coming back.
